木曽三大寺の一つということで期待してお伺いしたがここも新しい建物が多く、印象に残りにくい寺でした。

周辺のオススメ
Chofukuji Temple was a really peaceful place to visit. When we were there it was completely quiet and there was no one else around, which made us worry a little whether we were allowed to enter the perimiter but it seemed fine. The temple itself is beautiful and definitely worth stopping by if you’re exploring the area.There’s also a bell tower on the grounds that you can apparently enter, although we weren’t completely sure at the time so we didn’t go inside. The temple is very close to Kozenji, so visiting both together makes for a really nice short walk.
