I‘ve been hiking all the way from Ueda railwaystation, trough the town to get to the boundaries of the city. After several attemps to find an entrance to the path, it finally worked. With the help of a Japan Sim card in my Phone and translation software that is capable to translate text in pictures I even got the information about danger of bears in the area and to wear some noice making gear. The view from up there and the nice talks I had with local people I met on my way made it a very pleasant sunday afternoon. Thank you to the person who took me back to the city in his car after we walked down together!
