浄土宗護法山 洞雲院の特徴
1614年に建てられた歴史ある寺院です。
大飢饉に犠牲となった子供たちを偲ぶ地蔵像があります。
高山の東山地域に位置し、訪れる価値があります。
卍東山寺院群の一角を形成卍市街地の東方にある小高い山の裾には十を越える寺社が連ねて建っている。その中で洞雲院は、北隣の大雄寺と同じ浄土宗の寺院である。御本尊は阿弥陀如来様で、南無阿弥陀仏と一意専心に唱えることで浄土に導かれるとする、あの法然聖人様の教えを守っている。
This is part of a string of temples and shrines in this area that should not be missed. Foliage spectacular in early November and no one else around. If you were looking for fewer crowds than Kyoto or even Kanazawa then this is the place.

Otro de los templos de la zona de Higashiyama en Takayama, este fue construido en 1614 y en él encontramos una estatua de un jizo en honor a los niños que perdieron la vida durante la gran hambruna de la región.

Small Jodo‑shu temple tucked just off the main street, easy to miss but worth a quick stop. Doun‑in was founded in the early 1600s and enshrines a Koyasu Jizo, so locals visit to pray for safe childbirth and children’s health. The grounds are simple and usually empty, which makes it a calm little historical corner to drop into as you wander the Teramachi temple district.
