Absolutely delicious meal, it was my first time trying wagyu beef and it did not disappoint. My husband and I shared a 300g dinner set with some additional sides and it was the perfect amount. Would highly recommend the opportunity to try an iconic Japanese speciality dish.
We had the most wonderful time at Wagyu Kobeya. They picked us up from our accommodation after a long day of skiing and dropped us home after our dinner! Excellent service from the word go.The ordering process was seamless with lots of staff available to explain the menu!We got the 300g black Wagyu beef set which was unbelievably delicious. Melt in your mouth. You cook it yourself which made us savour every mouthful. If you are in the Hakuba area and are looking to treat yourself look no further!
The Kobe beef at Wagyu Kobeya was absolutely incredible.It was incredibly tender, beautifully marbled, and full of rich, natural flavor.The meat literally melts in your mouth, and the balance of juiciness and sweetness is perfect.It was truly a wonderful dining experience .
We had set yakiniku black wagyu sirloin 300g. Unfortunately it was too much fat (too marble) and the cut is very thick like steak kind instead of flat as normally, wishing we would have ordered other part of beef. We had to cook the left over meat (about half of what we ordered in total) to be able to bring in back to our chalet (for food safety reasons). Friendly (foreigners) service staff.

The most delicious Wagu and a lovely atmosphere. The sauces will be on my mind for years to come!The staff were lovely and explained everything and was great to meet the chef after our meal. Will be back!Definitely recommend this place for your stay in Hakuba.

We had an amazing meal here. Beef melts in your mouth and like nothing we've tasted before. Pricey but a nice treat after a long day on the slopes. The waiter even gave us a ride home afterwards which was very generous despite us not pre-booking as was a quiet evening.
