This is a cute izakaya that was formerly a karaoke bar. It is a single room kitchen with a counter and two low tables. The food is tasty, affordable, and the fish and vegetable menu items change with the seasons, and what is growing in the garden out back. Shogi, karaoke, conversation, tv, food, and drink. There is a whole host of different things that could be happening at nabe-chan, but with a pretty consistent and certainly devoted tight-knit group of regulars.
