梅林の特徴
梅咲き始めの時期、梅林の香りが漂い心癒されます。
コロナの影響で落ち着いて梅を鑑賞できる隠れたスポットです。
静かな雰囲気の中で、梅の美しさをじっくり楽しめる場所です。
2026/02/12ちらほらと梅が咲いていました。白やピンク色の花は美しく香りもよいです。これからが楽しみですね。
Visited in March 2025 during a light drizzle, which actually made the gardens feel incredibly peaceful. Everyone talks about the palace, but don’t miss the Sago Palms (Sotetsu) in the Ninomaru Garden. These tropical trees were gifted by the Nabeshima clan to the Shogun hundreds of years ago—they were the ultimate 17th-century status symbol! In early March, some might still be wrapped in their traditional straw 'winter coats' to protect them from the Kyoto cold. Seeing these exotic palms against the dark, rain-soaked castle stone was a highlight of my trip.
二条城西南隅櫓そばにあります。堀を取りまく周回路から脇によれる形の小路になってます。梅の季節に是非訪れたい。
Nijō Castle (二條城) in Kyoto is famous for its beautiful plum trees, which bloom in early spring, usually from late February to mid-March. The castle’s plum grove features various types of plum blossoms, including white and pink varieties, creating a stunning contrast against the historic architecture. Plum trees, or ume (梅), symbolize perseverance and renewal in Japanese culture, as they bloom even in cold weather. Visitors can stroll through the castle gardens and enjoy the delicate fragrance of the blossoms. Unlike cherry blossoms, plum flowers have a sweet scent and rounded petals, making them a unique highlight of Nijō Castle’s gardens.
23.2 梅 咲き始め。
地下鉄二条城前から5分、入場券1,030円。15代将軍の徳川慶喜が大政奉還を発表した部屋も障壁画もパス、小堀遠州作の庭を見ながら本丸御殿(今は休み)へ。本丸庭園を通り一気に天守閣跡まで来ました。皆さんベンチでぐったり。そうなんですよ、二条城は砂利道で疲れるんです。皆さん次は清流園。庭を見ながらの食事かスイーツの贅沢時間が一般的なのですが、私の目的は梅観賞。2022，3/17年期の入った梅も観賞用の垂れ梅も、珍しい品種も有ります。今日は賞梅の季節もやや送梅の季節が来た感じです。明日からの天候を考慮すると週末が見納めかも。この良い香りと重要文化財との見事な景色、収めて帰ります✌️
梅林の香りが満ちていました コロナのせいあり人の姿は少なくゆっくり鑑賞できました。
