The best BJJ gym in all of Japan. Professor Yoski is a world-class athlete and instructor. His medals prove his technical ability and competitive dominance. His students and affiliate schools prove his ability to coach and develop.My son and I went for about a month during our vacation period. Lessons are all in Japanese or Portuguese. The technique instruction is very thorough. The focus on competition and strategy is top notch. There are so many great jujutsukas at this gym; in my last practice there, I saw 8 black belts! As a white belt, I was KINDLY “destroyed,”and no one put anyone in harms way. It is just a great training atmosphere.The kids lessons are also excellent. There are so many competitive kids here, and that rubs off on the other kids. My son came in a little hesitant, but by the end of the month, he started to impose his will on his sparring partners. He was pleased to execute 4 submissions on his various training partners.I highly recommend this gym if you happen to be in the Minokamo/Kani area of Gifu.

海外からの一時帰国中に小学生の息子を連れていきました。普段は英語で習っているので最初は戸惑いもあったみたいですが、先生方は優しくて日本語が流暢ではない息子にも手取り足取りゆっくりとした日本語で指導してくださいました。他の生徒さんもとてもフレンドリーに息子に声をかけてくれたり、見学していた私にも礼儀正しく挨拶してくれました。次の一時帰国でもまた練習に行きたいそうなのでよろしくおねがいします。
