Rented a bike for 24 hrs in Kyoto. Really easy process and the bike was in perfect condition. Plus some cool stuff at the store to buy, good helmets, jackets...

These guys are absolute legends! The reservation was smooth, and the pickup was really quick. Even if you're gaijin they are happy to help! I got lost and stuck in traffic and missed my drop off time by a few minutes, but they were super chill and understanding. I rented a zx25r and cruised mt Hiai for the afternoon, and it was one of the highlights of my trip! Prices were fair too. If you love riding, come to these guys and they'll sort you out!
Absolutely no problems renting from Rental 819 Kyoto Jujo! Maybe different locations have different management, but this place was great. Made my reservation online, showed up at the appointed time and they were ready with my reservation. They showed me the bike (a small moped in great condition), we did a walk-around together, and they sent me on my way. Brought it back the next evening, they checked the bike and the fuel level and that was that! Had an awesome time riding around Kyoto- would definitely recommend this place! (Please note, you *DO* need an international driver's permit to rent here!)
