短い時間でしたが、本当に楽しかったです。優しい先生と、いつも元気なスタッフの皆さんに会うことができました。たくさん会話の練習ができて、楽しいアクティビティもあり、友達もたくさんできました。ありがとうございました。

JALSで4週間勉強しました。JALSは毎週月曜日から入学できる日本語学校で、たった1週間のコースでも大丈夫です。入学前は「多分、課外活動や友達作りがメインの学校かな」と思っていました。でも、実際に来てみると、授業はとても真剣で、しかも面白かったです。先生たちは本当に素晴らしく、優しくて、いつも親切に教えてくれました。スタッフさんたちもとても優秀で、学生の名前や顔、国籍、職業などを全部覚えてくれていました。毎日挨拶をしてくれて、温かい言葉で学生を気遣ってくれます。もしまた時間があれば、ぜひもう一度ここを選びたいと思います。I studied Japanese at JALS for four weeks. New students can join classes every Monday, and it’s possible to study for just one week. Before enrolling at JALS, I thought the school might not be very serious about Japanese learning. However, the lessons were much more intensive than I expected, and I learned so much more than I had anticipated. The teachers were warm and engaging, and the staff were amazing. They remembered every student’s name, face, country, and job, and always made me feel cared for. If I have the chance in the future, I would definitely choose to study here again.

The placement evaluation is accurate, and soon you immerse yourself in the weekly rhythm and see improvements from whatever language level you start form. The cultural activities that are included in the seasonal programs, but also available as an option for all other students, help you get introduced into various fascinating aspects of modern and old Japanese culture, with a more hands on approach than you can get from a guided tour or on your own.The school has partnerships with sharehouse companies and host families all over the city, which provided me a comfortable accommodation in an historical but calm part of the city, with considerable amenities and information that are a great boon to one's first experience on living in japan outside of hotels and similar accommodations.
