I am giving this place a three-star rating because it's not easy to find information about this place. There's no website, and I had to scroll through pictures to find the phone number. It's very frustrating to arrive and find it closed when there are sudden changes. The place is great when it's open, but make sure the name on the money transfer matches your ID exactly, or you might not be able to get your money. It's frustrating to have to go back multiple times and ask the sender to redo the transaction because my middle name is missing. I found out that there's one closer to me in Fussa that's open until 9:00, so I'll be going there from now on.

The staff were friendly and kind unlike in hachioji the staff were so rude
I've tried many WU branches. This one is the most bureaucratic. Even if you have your MyNumber with you, it has to be up-to-date and matches your ID address. Getting a new MyNumber is optional and it takes more than a month to get the new version. However, this branch insisted on showing them the new one. Very inconvenient and disappointing, especially after a one-hour trip to get there

The only people complaining about this shop aren’t doing their homework. I have been coming to this Western Union on and off for 8 years. Im a foreigner with limited Japanese. The staff has ALWAYS been extremely kind and helpful. On one of my last visits on my first extended stay, one member of the staff kindly gifted me some small trinkets from Tokusatsu series like Ultraman and Kamen Rider. I cherish those gifts. If I have to use Western Union, I come here.Remember folks, kindness, politeness, and patience go a long way in Japan. Im hella dumb. If I can do it, you can too.And if my friend sees this “通りすがりの仮面ライダーファンがすぐに戻ってきます。寂しかったよ！”
