Epic! We were looking for a place in Kanazawa to watch F1 and after some googling we found this place, and boy were we glad that we did. The first night at the bar was full but Mr Masao told us to come back in 20 minutes. Went to see some musicians jam at a different bar in the same building, and returned to the sportbar. We were welcomed and we could watch the remainder of the race while people were having a good time and ofcourse karaoke. This turned out to be one of those nights that we will remember for the rest of our lives. But it gets even better. The next day we returned to have some more drinks, do some more karaoke and watch some sports. That night the ex professional footbalplayers for the local team were there, and dispite of still feeling a little hungover from the night before, this time turned out even greater. So many thanks to Mr Masao! A kind, caring and humourous person and a good singer as well :). 11/10To Mr MasaoThank you so much kind sir! We had the time of our lives and now the only thing to do is when we come back to Japan we have to visit your beautiful bar again. Masao Sportsbar in Kanazawa was an amazing surprise! We were looking for a place to watch F1, we went there at the beginning of the night and Mr. Masao welcomed us and put on the TV the F1 Race. Me and my wife went there to watch F1 but the show was given by Mr. Masao. He is a fantastic host — friendly, welcoming, and always with a smile. I truly felt at home. A great spot to enjoy a drink and experience genuine Japanese hospitality. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Kanazawa!
石川金沢には数少ないスポーツバーぶっとんだマスターが☆５以上です男女の貴重な出会いの場でもあり 体育会系の貴方にはぴったり。
Io e la mia ragazza siamo andati nel bar di Masao il 25 luglio sera del 2024 quasi per caso. Stavamo girando per le vie di Kanazawa e io avevo una gran voglia di un bicchiere di birra. Tiro fuori il telefono e cerco su Google Maps un bar che fosse vicino e dall'aria informale. Trovo il suo, e che dire? Ha finito per essere la serata più indimenticabile che abbiamo passato in Giappone! L'energia di Masao è contagiosa: quella che doveva essere solo una tranquilla birra con la mia ragazza si è trasformata in una serata di sakè, tequila, whisky giapponese e l'immancabile karaoke!Masao è davvero simpaticissimo e in più è premuroso e si fa in quattro per i suoi clienti: pensate che il whisky giapponese che abbiamo bevuto non lo aveva in locale e se lo è fatto portare da un corriere solo perché potessi berlo.Avrei voluto tornare anche la sera seguente, ma purtroppo io e la mia ragazza abbiamo dovuto lasciare Kanazawa e partire per Kyoto.Ciò detto, mi ricorderò di questa serata per sempre e serberò per sempre il ricordo del mio amico giapponese Masao nel cuore!Se riuscirò a tornare in Giappone (come spero), il bar di Masao sarà una tappa obbligata e lo consiglio vivamente a tutti!PS: il quadratino sulla faccia del nostro altro amico di serata è - ovviamente - solo per proteggere la sua privacy.
We watched the England game here and Masao made us feel so welcome. Loved the karaoke! Fantastic bar. 10/10

Karaoke afterwards and shots on the house. Masao is a marvellous host with lovely eccentricity.

Had the privilege off watching the Japan vs Scotland game and was suprised by a little karaoke afterwards. ext thing I knew it was 02:00 and I was searching for a late night feed.Thanks for a fun time Masao Bar!
