For a short time, I lived in Ikata as an exchange student, and Lawson is one of my favorite places. I have good memories of Lawson. I walked here with friends many times--to get lunch, to use the A.T.M. during the Kinahaiya Festival, to meet with someone, to buy omiyage in the middle of the night, just for fun...It was also the only other store that wasn't closed down when I was there.I miss the food selection, the candies, the drinks. I miss the water gummies, the sakeru gummies, the mugicha. Even the weird stuff, like the skinless weiners.I miss you, Lawson 🥺.
