展示著三個世代的鯱。
上山里曲輪の西、というかお菊井戸の近くで明治・昭和・平成の時代毎の物が展示されている結構時代の違いが出ていて興味深いちなみに全て雌である。

明治・昭和・平成の鯱瓦が飾られています。
シャチは、トラの頭、隆起した尾、背中に沿った鋭いひれの列を持つ魚に似た伝説の生き物です。寺院を火から守る守護神とされています。長くは続かないので、改修時に新しいシャチに交換しました。 3つの異なるシャチのレプリカがここに表示されます。（原文）Shachi is legendary creature resembling a fish with the head of a tiger, a raised tail and rows of sharp fins along its back. It is regarded as a guardian deity to protect the temple from fire. Because it doesn't last long, these Shachi were replaced to new ones at the time of renovation.
