Takayama is a small town and bike friendly so renting these bikes makes it very easy to explore. The owner is very friendly and speaks great English. He was very flexible with our needs and gave us an awesome deal for hiring for 2 days (48 hours) for only 1500yen. No need to lock your bikes as you get on and off as the culture here are respectful of your things.
Another great adventure and another great service! Bikes are great and newish so still a bit hard on suspension. Solid price 800yen for full day or 420yen for half a day if rented after 12pm. Staff are very helpful and speak enough english for a cheeky banter!
It was a nice ride with nice bikes ! The staff really helped with ajusting my seat and recommended a nice view point! I loved everything about it even if im a beginner biker! Takayama is really safe to bike in cars are respectful.
Cute little hostel that also has bike rentals. Friendly English speaking staff. Great price and brand new bikes.
