Very beautiful place together with the master Hakase. Lovely music on request and lots of locals. Also some nuts together with the drink, really local vibe. Would recommend to everyone!
What a great little bar! My wife and I (American) came in and sat between a couple regulars. Everyone, including the bartender, could not have been nicer. Despite the language barrier, they put on our music requests (from the impressive CD collection) and the bartender was very generous. They were celebrating their 30th anniversary and I can see why! Highly recommend.
Cosy bar with a great cd/vinyl selection. Hakase is a gracious host giving snacks as you drink. Definitely worth a visit if you want beer or spirits on your trip

Where do I even begin. Hakase's space is something truly special, a place he has clearly poured his soul into, and you feel it the moment you walk in. The curation is extraordinary: gem after gem behind that bar, old school CDs spinning through the night, a collection that tells a story only someone who deeply loves music and craft could put together. But what made our night in Kanazawa unforgettable wasn't just the space, it was him. Hakase surprised us with homemade appetizers, the kind of gesture that is so genuine it catches you completely off guard. He is one of those rare, utterly adorable souls whose kindness and passion fill the room just as much as his music does, warm, generous with his knowledge, and genuinely present with every guest. We left not just having had great drinks, but having had a great experience, the kind that stays with you long after you leave. If you find yourself in Kanazawa, don't miss this place. And don't miss him.
