This mausoleum complex dates hundreds of years and is a special place of quiet contemplation and exquisite beauty. When we were there we only encountered one other person, an older Japanese perhaps paying respects to a departed loved one, which was heart-rending. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the property climbs elegantly up into a narrowing on the side of the hill. It is walking distance from Dogo Onsen and is highly recommended .
