シカとカモシカの谷の特徴
谷からシカとカモシカを間近に観察できる場所です。
ハイキングを楽しみながら動物たちを発見できます。
運が良ければ、カモシカに出会える可能性もあります。
カモシカがホントにいるのかってくらい見つけられませんでした。しかエリアとその外の柵の境目で植生が違うのがよく分かって面白かったです。
谷にいるシカとカモシカを見下ろす形で見ることができます。シカはすぐに見つかりましたが、カモシカは谷が深いこともあって見つけるのに少し時間がかかりました。
普通にハイキング気分を味わえますし、シカとカモシカを見付けるのも楽しいです。耳を澄ますと、カサカサとシカがエサを探してる音がします。
もしかしたらカモシカに会えますよ。
The deer and antelope valley, like a lot of Saitama Children's Zoo, is done really well. You can walk to it through the "Kobaton Road" beside the entrance to the Australian animals section of the zoo. About half way down the boardwalk the deer enclosure starts on the left hand side. It is a boardwalk that goes over and through the marshy woods in the far corner of the children's zoo. The other entrance / exit to the deer and antelope area is up past the dinosaur corner. It is hard to see the deers when they are sitting as they blend into the landscape, but you can easily make out the Japanese antelope thanks to their white colour.
