It was the best nail shop near my Fuchon hotel it was 3minute walk very convenient for me. It’s small place but two working ladies who were very polite and honest about the price. I just love my nail!!! Able to communicate in English (simple words) great for tourists. Takes walk-in or DM them
I made an appointment via Instagram during my trip to Kyoto and couldn’t have been more pleased. They answered my message promptly and were able to communicate with me easily or used Google translate. They were kind and did an excellent job with my nails. It’s one of the best gel manicures that I’ve had and they still look great 3 weeks later.
I found this place that was very close to my hotel and I loved it! The girl was very precise and my nails are perfect! Atmosphere very friendly, even for me as a non Japanese speaker. Next time I will visit this place again for sure!!
What an amazing experience!! The beautiful lady doing my nails was such an artist with attention to detail I’ve never seen before at a nail salon. You can tell she really cares for her work and customers. I only speak English and could communicate with the team very well. The hand massage at the end was amazing too! Thank you! I love them so much!
Such an amazing experience at nail salon grow! They take their time and have excellent service. They also speak English, which helps. I’m so glad I found this place and will be coming back in the near future.

I will definitely be visiting these ladies again the next time I visit Kyoto! 🥰 My nails were in sad shape during my trip and I needed to find a local salon that would take walk-ins and be willing to communicate with a foreigner. I am so glad I found them. They were not only incredibly nice, but also very patient and experienced in using Google translate.They have so many nail designs to choose from, but honestly, with their expertise, I probably could have shown them a picture and they would have executed it flawlessly.I chose acrylic extensions and she did them SO professionally! I was amazed at her skill and speed. I’ve never had acrylic extensions before but these looked and felt just like Gel X extensions. I can’t believe she made them out of powder. 😭The other nail tech did the gel design, and she drew the flowers so fast and so perfectly! They are truly masters at their craft.The salon is cozy and intimate. Super clean inside. I was also able to walk from my hotel (about 15 minutes). It seemed a little out of the way from the main road but very easy to find with Google Maps. It was a great opportunity for me to explore more of Kyoto. ☺️My nails have lasted 4.5 weeks with no breakage at all (for context, I got them done 4/5 and it is now 5/7). I am still able to wash my hair without having to worry about strands going under the extensions. Designs are still immaculate. I don’t want to remove them but I also can’t function with this length any longer lol. See pictures for initial length and after 4.5 weeks!Thank you, Grow Salon, for taking such great care of me! ❤️

So happy with my nails! I called into the salon thismorning and they were able to accomodate a same day appointment later in the day. It was such a great experience, and the design matched exactly what I asked for. I got acrylic infills along with the design. These ladies are very talented at what they do! I only speak English and that wasn’t a problem either.
