This is a great place to stay at in Kyoto. The vibe is peaceful. The lady manager is kind & sweet. The house is clean. You stay near the station. Highly recommend. I also met some great fellow travellers here.

Insgesamt ein schlechtes Erlebnis.Das Hostel (sowohl Zimmer als auch Gemeinschaftsräume) waren dreckig.In unserem Zimmer wurde die Wäsche des Hostels gewaschen, die Waschmaschine fing um Mitternacht an zu schleudern.Beim Einchecken sollten wir für einen Rabatt die Buchung bei Booking.com stornieren (kostenlose Stornierung anfragen und diese wurde durch den Chef des Hotels bestätigt) und dann in bar ohne Quittung bezahlen. Ein solches Vorgehen kenne ich sonst nur von Steuerhinterziehung.Insgesamt war es sehr laut und eng auf den Fluren.Der Standort ist sehr gut, nahe der Bushaltestellen und fußläufig von der Kyoto Station zu erreichen.

Rooms are simple (both dorms and private), with shared bathrooms and a nice common lounge.The cleanliness is ultimate everything feels neat and well maintained. The kitchen amenities are good, and they even provide free milk, tea, coffee, and hot water anytime, which is such a thoughtful touch after a long day out.The staff are friendly, and Mary at the reception has workable knowledge of English, so communication is easy for international travellers.This hostel is really a good choice for hikers, backpackers, or anyone on budget travel. It gives a homely vibe without unnecessary frills.Wheelchair Accessibility:The building doesn’t have a lift, and stairs may be involved, so not suitable for guests with mobility issues.Overall, Mini Inn Kyoto is a clean, cozy, and budget friendly base in Kyoto with kind staff and practical facilities.Advance Booking is recommended.
2020年京都旅行（紅葉）の際に、こちらに二泊しました。いわゆるゲストハウス。部屋はきれいです。エレベータはありません。トイレ付きの部屋でしたがシャワーは共用です。コスパは良いです。不思議なことにコップがないです。
ちょっと間違って日本人予約不可のプランで予約してしまったんですが、スタッフの計らい（？）で泊めていただけました。館内はめちゃくちゃ綺麗でした！結構歴史ありそうで築年数が深そうだったんですが、綺麗にリノベしてありました。良き！今回泊まった部屋（ドミトリー）は10畳くらいで、木製の2段ベッドが2つ置かれていました。ベッドはシーツが敷かれていたし、低反発マットだったので、寝心地もよかったです。カーテンも全面を隠せるようになってたので、他に宿泊客がいてもプライバシーは守れるかと思います。
駅からも近く、安く泊まれるところを探していた時に見つけた。サービスもそこそこですが、スタッフは日本語はあまり話せませんが、英語は堪能です。部屋には特に問題はなく、清潔で、バスルームもかなりきれいでした。タオルは用意されているが、荷物ロッカーはない。I found this place when I was looking for a cheap place to stay, close to the station.The service is there, but the staff does not speak much Japanese, but they speak good English.There were no problems with the room, it was clean and the bathroom was quite nice.Towels are provided, but there are no luggage lockers.

周辺のオススメ
Stayed briefly in this accommodation for one night and was provided with all necessary amenities. The shared room I slept in was dark and curtains surrounded the bed, providing good sleep and privacy. The location of the inn is pleasant, only a 15 minute walk to the train station, with accessibility to the North of Kyoto as well. I would return to this Inn, providing convenience, privacy all within a pleasant location.
