Wow! This place is magical and well worth the visit. It is where you can experience a tranquil and authentic Japan by bicycle or on foot. Surrounded by water ways Gujo, & nomad inn was the perfect spot to cool off in summer. The house has been lovingly restored with all the old world charm of a traditional house but included mod cons like an air-conditioner (which was a welcome addition). The traditional floor beds were comfy and kitchen well equipped. Views from the front and back of the house were stunning and we enjoyed the back patio over looking the river, bridge and temple just behind it. We appreciated being picked up from the bus station and the use of bikes to discover the town. The owner Masa was thoughtful and informative about the town he grew up in and did everything he could to make us feel welcome. We loved our stay and will remember it fondly for the rest of our days. Thank you Masa for hosting such a lovely experience 😊
This is by far one of the greatest Japanese experiences I've had and would be one of the highest in the world. The hospitality, the kindness, and the welcoming we received by our host Masa are unmatched or very difficult to find.We travelled to Gujo-Hachiman by the Highway Express and were welcomed by Masa, now, tourism here, barely a handful of people, this was due to the winter setting in! So we had a whole village nearly to ourselves, and i can tell you it's what you need between the hustle and bustle of the cities. Named mini-Kyoto, it's easy to see why, and Masas house is a part of that. Felt like a family home you've never stepped into, an experience worth having, walking upstairs to look out the window and see Gujo-Hachiman Castle in all its glory is memorable.Everything you need is in this stayhome (including some bicycles!), treat it with care, stay as long as you need, and thank you, Masa, for such an experience!

非常棒的體驗，包含房間和老闆可以體驗日式建築，但內部的設備舒適老闆人非常的親切，可以使用翻譯機與我們介紹郡上八幡的特色 景點和美食，也會主動和小孩互動由於我們是在郡上八幡IC下車，老闆也會主動協助我們到達，真的很感謝後面有個的小庭院，晚上如果能坐在那裡一定很舒服，不過由於入住時太冷我們沒出去。
8/5造訪郡上，天氣很好，下午一點到達民宿，主人Masa已經在等候我們到訪，很熱情且自豪的介紹起房子內部，可以感受到主人對房子的呵護，孩子一看到塌塌米好開心，大字形躺在塌塌米上，好享受老房子獨特的寧靜，民宿滿足了我們一家的願望，寧靜又乾淨，民宿外的水溝就可以泡腳，乾淨又清涼，坐在職人町街道泡腳，像極了小時候鄉下的感覺，歲月靜好就在那一刻。Masa也貼心提醒我們可以帶孩子去玩水，這也是這次到訪日本額外的收穫，從沒想過可以在日本野溪玩水，給了三個地點最後從宗祇水下水，溪水很清涼下午兩點下水很剛好，溪水裡滿滿的魚，雖然一條都沒抓到，但孩子玩得很開心。晚上參加了郡上舞祭，很有特色的祭典，孩子也玩得很開心。感謝Masa讓我們旅途中多了很多的回憶，這也是我會想再訪的民宿與地方。如果有遺憾的地方，就是沒能在郡上停留兩晚，也期待再訪郡上。
位在職人町上的房子，主人Masa維護的很好，感受的到他希望保持傳統、又能提供旅人好的居住體驗的用心，我們住的很開心，雖然這次停留在郡上八幡的天氣不佳，但Masa的熱情跟親切，讓我們一家人留下愉快的回憶！
Fantastisch. Er is een gebrek aan woorden om te beschrijven hoe erg ik het naar mijn zin heb gehad. Het ligt op een geweldige locatie, de eigenaar is heel gastvrij (hij heeft ons vanaf de bushalte opgehaald en ook weer daar naartoe teruggebracht), het huis is super mooi en ik ben verliefd geworden op de kotatsu. Verder wonen in de omgeving hele gezellige en aardige mensen. Er is heel lekker eten te vinden, wat ook goed betaalbaar is. De omgeving is prachtig.おおきに！
[La casa era in un posizione centrale, perfetta per visitare la città di Gujo e percepire al 100% l'anima di questo luogo meraviglioso. I corsi d'acqua che scorrono attorno alla casa rendono tutto magico e rilassante. La vista dalla terrazza è meravigliosa e rigenerante. La casa è grande, molto pulita e ha il tatami che contribuisce a rendere ancora più autentica l'esperienza in questo luogo. Nonostante la casa sembri "antica" è dotata di tutti i confort necessari, dalla tv all'aria condizionata.L'host è una persona meravigliosa, super attenta e affabile, che si preoccupa affinché la permanenza a Gujo risulti indimenticabile. Non solo per la cura che ripone nel curare la casa, ma anche per le informazioni che si occupa di fornire a chi alloggia nella sua casa riguardo le attività ed i luoghi da visitare a Gujo. Oltre questo, devo aggiungere che è stato molto gentile e si è offerto di accompagnarci con la sua macchina alla fermata del bus che si trova in una posizione un po' scomoda e visto che era tardi ci ha accompagnati anche al combini e ci ha regalato dei mandarini. Super gentile! Un servizio non scontato e che non ci si aspetta di trovare quando si sta lontani da casa. Grazie mille per tutto! Torneremo!
開始したばかりの民泊です。伝統的な長屋ですが、水回り等綺麗にリフォームされています。担当の方にも暖かく親切に対応していただきました。古い街並の一角で、暮らすように過ごす経験ができました。

周辺のオススメ
Although it is not as budget traveler, the place is not less then amazing! The owner greeted us with much info about the city and activities.. all ammenities are clean and maintained. Keep in mind that the 2nd floor have very steep stairs so pay attention to where better sleep. Views from its private terrace is incredible and the house is much authentic. Location is 15 mins by walking from all the sightseeing in town.
