We had a fantastic 7-night stay here in Hakuba. Dan and the team (Chris, Mai, and Nicole) were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has a relaxed, cozy atmosphere that made it a great base for our trip.The drying and storage rooms for gear were fantastic and well thought out, beds were very comfortable, the onsens in the pension were perfect after a day on the slopes, and the included breakfast each morning was a great start to the day. One of the best conveniences was the daily shuttle service to the nearby ski hills, which made getting around Hakuba super easy. Dan and his team were even kind enough to host a ramen night at his favourite spot and cook a BBQ for the lodge which we enjoyed immensely especially as getting dinner in the area can be a bit tricky sometimes.Overall we had a wonderful week and would happily stay here again. A great option if you're looking for a friendly, laid-back place to stay with easy access to the mountains.
Made our Hakuba experience fantastic.Accomodation plays such a huge role in making a trip great fun! Dan and his team were extremely accomodating and always went the extra mile to make sure our experience of Hakuba was a good one. From morning breakfast and shuttle runs to the resorts, to cooking up a family dinner style smoked pork. Can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks Dan and all the staff, we will be back 🤙🏼 🍻
This is our favorite lodge in Hakuba so far! It’s absolutely cozy, and the rooms are amazing - the little hot tub on the balcony is pure bliss after a day of snowboarding. A special shout-out to Dan and the team who make your stay so relaxed, easy, and comfortable, with plenty of joy, laughs, and delicious food.Thanks for everything, guys - see you soon!
少し離れていますが、近くに循環バスも来ているので、それほど不便を感じません。
A truly lovely spot, couldn't recommend enough. I traveled solo at the beginning of Jan. 2025 and was met with such kindness and community, I left with great memories.The accommodations are great, from the outdoor rotenburo bath to the provided breakfasts, all made for a restful stay while being able to prioritize skiing and enjoying Hakuba.Thanks to the morning driving amenities provided by snowhere, figuring out busses in the morning (to ski resort and to Hakuba train station/bus stop) was spared and thank goodness for that.Definitely wish I could've stayed longer, hope to stay here during my next future Hakuba visit!外国の方が多いスノーシーズンの白馬、日本人である私でも満喫満喫できる白馬経験でした。DanとChrisさんが提供してくれるサービス全てが良い経験に貢献してくれました！Danさんの日本語力もぜひ試してみてあげて下さい！
Incredible experience from start to finish. Dan picked us up from and dropped us off at the bus station, helped us sort our rentals and drove us there and back, offers all residents a ride to the slopes in the morning, cooks a mean breakfast and was always on hand to provide information.Rooms are cozy and comfortable, nice and warm and we had a private onsen on our balcony which was awesome after a day of boarding.Great little living room with a much needed massage chair and video games, and a dry room to store all your stuff if need be. I’ll be back here as often as I can!
