We couldn’t believe our luck finding this place, it made our stay in Hakuba just magical.The lodge was beautifully presented with views out to the woods, watching the snow fall while warm and cosy inside is something we will never forget 👌Everything was new, clean and well equipped with everything we needed.We didn’t have a car so the use of the truck made it very easy to get away while we were here. This a game changer for our trip, not having to take public transport everywhere.We got to enjoy the fire pit one afternoon and the host came and enjoyed a beer with us.Above all Tatsuya an amazing host, and gave us great tips to make sure our trip was special.We can’t wait to return next year!
The owner of this lodge is an awesome guy! His whole family is so helpful! If you want to enjoy Nagano and experience all seasons in Japan, you must stay here. He and his family speak English well, and you will feel that you should come back again and again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hakuba Hideaway tiny house and couldn’t recommend it more highly.The space itself is beautifully designed — the large windows framing the forest view made us feel completely immersed in nature, and the cozy atmosphere of the tiny house made it the perfect retreat. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, not just with cookware and appliances, but thoughtfully stocked with seasonings and sauces too, which made cooking our own meals so easy and enjoyable.What really made the stay special was our host, Tatsuya-san. He was incredibly warm, attentive, and always responded to our messages right away. He went above and beyond to recommend and help arrange a restaurant reservation for my boyfriend’s birthday — a thoughtful touch that made the celebration even more memorable.We had an absolutely wonderful time and already find ourselves thinking about coming back. Thank you, Tatsuya-san, for such a special stay!
