食堂の安くて美味しい料理が多くの人に好評です。
独立行政法人が運営し、JLPT対策も万全な信頼の学校です。
特徴としては、 独立行政法人が設置し、国の支援を受けている。日本語の授業と、進学に必要な基礎科目(数学、物理、化学、日本事情等）の授業がある。定員20人以下の少人数クラスで、週5日毎日約6時間、授業がある。日本の大学入学資格が得られる。日本文化体験や国際交流にも力を入れている。食堂がある。上八プラザという別名があり、地域のイベントに使われる場合もある。
I've been in Japan for 20 years and I studied there for a year when I first got here. This is my favorite school. Every teacher was very good at their job in a unique way. I was able to pass JLPT level one within 7 months. (I had no Japanese knowledge at all). Loved the way they teach and all the teachers and staff.
I took the Japanese Practical Language Course. It was pretty much a waste of time. The teachers never introduced themselves, so I did not know their names for the entire course.The textbook is poorly written. Some of the text is too small to read. There are no explanations of the grammar and meaning in the book. Over the duration of the course, the textbook felt like absolute torment.Each lesson has a new language focus. Students are expected to use both the new vocabulary, which is dozens of new words, and the new language in the same lesson. I found it very difficult to do in each lesson.There is almost no opportunity to review and practice language from the previous lessons. Overall, I don't feel that my Japanese language skills improved with this class.My suggestion is to avoid the Japanese language program offered by this organization.
One thing in particular is this's government build institution, and the school is meant for foreigner students to not only learn Japanese properly but also to pursue JLPT test qualification.Yes, the schoo is meant to put you through JLPT test, so it's recommended for whoever wanna learns Japanese, graduates and later finds college or career in Japan. The academic program is supported by government, so I'm certain this school is a real deal and will never take teaching program so lightly.As long you're willing to learn or certain what kind of future you wanna pursue in Japan, this school could be your good foundation.
