赤穂大石神社の境内にある回遊式庭園で、入場に料金が必要な区画の一つ。庭園としては小規模であるため、ゆっくりとした歩調で周遊しても10分程度で周回できる。園内の小路は起伏が無く、一部で段差等があるものの、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも利用しやすい構造となっている。庭園の周囲は長屋門等の建物に囲まれていることから、現代的な建物が目に入ってくることはなく、当時の雰囲気を味わいながら散策することが出来ると思う。春に躑躅が咲くものの、花の種類はあまり多くない。それでも、バランスよく植えられた木々の緑は、参拝客を和ませてくれるだろう。This is a circular garden located in the precincts of Ako Oishi Shrine, and is one of the sections that require a fee for admission. As it is a small garden, it takes about 10 minutes to walk around the garden at a slow pace. The paths in the garden have no ups and downs, and although there are some steps, they are easily accessible to wheelchair users and other physically challenged visitors. The garden is surrounded by row-house gates and other buildings, so visitors can stroll around the garden while enjoying the atmosphere of the time, without seeing any modern buildings.Although azaleas bloom in spring, there are not many types of flowers. Nevertheless, the greenery of the trees planted in a well-balanced manner will soothe worshippers.
