Amazing pottery! Everything is handmade by family! The little old lady was a blessing! So sweet! She showed us her family in books written about them. Definitely will be back to buy more next visit!

This pottery place was such a nice little spot we found on the walk to our hotel. The lady is very nice and invited us in, gave us tea, and had a nice discussion with us, despite our limited Japanese. We bought some very beautiful pieces and a very reasonable price for how well made these are, and after I showed her my own ceramics, she started showing us very beautiful pieces her son did of different Kami, even gifting us each a little statue! Absolutely worth checking out if you are looking for a nice atmosphere and pottery made with love!

あたたかい雰囲気で迎え入れて頂けます。お茶をよばれお話しを聞きながらゆっくりと自分好みの作品を選ぶ事ができます。
こちらの無茶な捜し物にも真摯に対応してくれた。最終的に窯場の方に伺い、希望のものが買えました。ありがとうございます。
新学さんの、お母様の店です。手頃なビロード系の伊賀焼きがたくさん並んでいます。駐車スペースが無いので、気をつけてください。気さくに話しかけて下さるので居心地も最高だお思います。

This place was so cute and warm. The kinda lady was very helpful and a sweetheart! It is a must visit shop if you ever stop by Iga. She mentioned that everything is handmade by her son and even showed us a photo of him in a magazine while making the pottery! We bought two cups and cannot wait to use them❤️
