My 10-year-old daughter and I stayed with Hiromi for three nights. After being in busy Tokyo, it was such a wonderful experience to stay with Hiromi and her kawaii dog Coco. The house is very clean and spacious, and Hiromi is such a thoughtful host. She was available any time we had a question, but we also had plenty of our own space. Hiromi is clearly running the guest house out of a love of meeting people and helping them to experience Japan.The house’s location is also amazing. It’s just a few minutes walk to the morning market by the river, the old town area, and some lovely shrines and temples.Hiromi also offers her service to drive guests to nearby attractions. She took us to Shirakawa Go and Hida Furukawa. She also found a local craft activity and participated in all of it with us. Staying with her was like visiting family. We hope to return again someday!
Superb stay! We had a wonderful time spending a night at Live Takayama.The host was very friendly and extremely helpful, especially in recommending a lovely place for dinner. The house was spotlessly clean, and all the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were well equipped with everything we needed.The traditional Japanese futon was warm and very comfortable, giving us a great night’s sleep.And of course, Coco! The Chow Chow dog was incredibly friendly and gentle. For anyone who might be afraid of dogs, there is absolutely nothing to worry about—Coco is calm, well-behaved, great with kids, and very clean. Our son absolutely loved him.We would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again. 🌸
白川郷旅行で4人で宿泊、とても素敵な時間を過ごせました。一階のリービングは心地よい暖かさで、清潔に整えられ、まるで実家のような安心感( ♥︎ᴗ♥︎ )お部屋は2階の和室と3階の洋室、どちらも素敵で快適！トランプカードも用意されていて、寝る前にみんなで楽しむことができました〜朝食のホットサンドとコーヒーも絶品で、静かで人懐っこい看板犬（Cocoa）がさらに癒しをくれました ෆ⃛ʕ•̫͡•ོʔ翌日のスキー場についても丁寧に教えてくださり、駐車場（敷地内は1台のみ、2台目は近くのコインパーキングを利用）のご案内まで親切に対応いただき、細やかな気配りに心が動きました!宿全体が温もりに包まれ、心からの「また来たい」が自然とこみ上げる場所で、白川郷の風景と、この宿の温もりが重なり、また必ず訪れたいと思っています！ヒロミさん、本当にありがとうございました(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)
仕事で高山滞在だったのですが、ビジネスホテルなどが空いてなく、または空いててもすっごい高い金額設定で困っていた時に偶然見つけたお宿でした。民泊はちょこちょこ利用しますが、ホストさんもいらっしゃるパターンは初めてでした。結論は最高でした😀ホストさんがいらっしゃる事でのメリット（キレイ、おすすめの店舗や駐車場の案内、暖かい朝食など）が全てつまったお宿でしたよ〜とってもいい1日を過ごせました。ここはオススメです。たくさんのお心遣い、本当にありがとうございました！！

Hiromi is so hospitable and friendly and Coco is a lovely and calm dog, very good with children. Hiromi’s guesthouse is well located in Takayama and the best part of staying with Hiromi is that she has lots of great ideas for activities in and around Takayama. We did a craft workshop, hiked in Kamekochi and tried local sento and restaurants that Hiromi recommended. I highly recommend staying with Hiromi. This is a wonderful experience that you don’t have staying in a ho or Airbnb. Thank you Hiromi!
