船瀬の浜の特徴
先祖の霊が埋葬されていると噂されるスポットです。
昔は火葬場として利用されていた歴史があります。
砂と水の美しさが印象的な静かな浜辺です。
砂と水のが綺麗な場所です。島の方によると、ここは平成初期ぐらいまでは火葬場だったそうです。砂浜で荼毘に付し、御遺灰は海に還っていったのだそうです。島に所縁のある者の先祖は誰かしらここで眠っているのだとも。それを聞くとGoogleマップに「観光名所」として登録されてるのは来訪者からしても何かモヤッとします。

周辺のオススメ
It's a place where the sand and water are beautiful. According to the islanders, this was a crematorium until around the early Heisei era. Bodies were cremated on the sandy beach, and the ashes were returned to the sea. They say the ancestors of those connected to the island are buried here somewhere. Hearing that, it feels a bit unsettling that it's registered as a "tourist attraction" on Google Maps, even for visitors.
