Wow! What a rare treat. We were lucky enough to be shown around this nursery/art collection by Yochi Kana. It was just amazing and so hospitable. We could not believe how beautiful this collection was and how it was laid out and then the art pieces. Just WOW. Definitely add to your list and make sure you go……
This is a very beautiful bonsai nursery and garden that have very old and beautiful trees. You should 100% visit this place!The owners are a husband and his wife and they are the nicest and most polite people that you will meet in Japan. そろそろ植え替えの時期…そう聞かされていた矢先の春の嵐で、妻の盆栽教室以来の鉢は真っ二つに！訪問した中西珍松園さんへは、当時の教室先生の紹介で。鉢選びに持参した黒松、手入れが不十分なこともあり、自然な成り行きで「鉢選び～植え替え～葉すかし（一部剪定）」と懇切丁寧な盆栽教室に移行。盆栽アドバイザーの関りのもと、充実した時間が流れます。そばで見ている盆栽未経験者の私も、いつしか二人の作業に引き込まれ…。作業後は、園内や癒しの空間 “TAKUMIKUMO VILLAGE” を案内していただくことに。そのお姿には、「お客様との会話を大事に」との想いが、控えめながら満ち溢れているご様子。盆栽素人や初心者には何かと敷居が高い（？）本格的な盆栽園ですが、今日ここ珍松園さんで、その思い込みは変わったような気も…。松とともに、「人」を大切にされているお気持ちが、一連の作業から始まり、十分に伝わる滞在となりました。TAKUMIKUMO VILLAGE で体験できる「讃岐の学」は、匠との語らいを含め、きっと参加者の心を満たすものになるだろうなあ…。そう思いながら、見送られる中「中西珍松園」を後にしました。
盆栽はもちろんのこと、日本の文化を深く感じれる場所です。
