The doctor spent about 2 minutes in the room with me. Confirmed what I wrote on the sheet was correct, asked me how long I had my symptoms, listened to me breath for one breath, and looked at my mouth from several feet away. He said I had no fever so basically he could give me some generic medicine for my symptoms, but that was it. He said I could schedule an appointment to have a flu test or covid test done the next day, but they couldn't do it while I was there and he didn't think that was the cause since I didn't have a fever. It didn't seem like he knew the cause of my sickness nor cared to try to find out as he didnt ask me about any of my symptoms or perform any tests. I understand the clinic is very busy and I was a first time patient, but I didn't feel like the doctor cared about my health at all. If he requited an appointment I think that should have been told to me when I arrived instead of letting me sit in the office for an hour just to be rushed out without any answers. I am at least thankful for the medicine he provided me and hope it helps, but I feel I could've gotten the same results talking to a pharmacist at the drug store and they likely would've asked a lot more questions to help me find the right medicines.
