This sushi restaurant is an absolute gem. It’s run by the owner himself, and you can feel the care and passion in everything he does—from the way he welcomes you to the incredible quality of the food. The fish is exceptionally fresh, the rolls are beautifully crafted, and every dish has its own personality. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, making it easy to enjoy the entire experience. It’s rare to find a place where the owner is so present and dedicated, and it truly elevates the meal. One of the best sushi experiences I’ve had in Japan. Highly recommended.

Authentic, warm, pure. 75 year old couple, making sushi’s for 53 years so knows his stuff and quick too! All superfresh. Max 7 person seating and the owner is just lovely, speaks couple of words English and has a great sense of humour. Would recommend for sure!

Une expérience vraiment parfaite et authentique. L'endroit est petit et très "cosy", on s'y sent bien. Il y a environ 6/8 places et le chef prépare vos sushis devant vous. La nourriture est excellente et très bien préparée.Le personnel est très sympathique et prend le temps d'échanger un peu avec vous. Je recommande l'endroit sans hésiter.Attention, il y a peu de places, pensez peut-être à venir tôt pour vous assurer un repas dans ce restaurant.

平日の19:30頃訪問。先客は外国人の女性一人。注文したのは上握りとビール中瓶、追加で鉄火と穴子を握ってもらいました。シャリは柔らかめ。お土産に鉄火の折を注文しました。値段と味のバランスは良いと思います。

Went there with family when we were in Takayama. It is a small sushi restaurant, chef is friend, food is fresh and delicious.Won’t go wrong with this place. However there are only 7-8 seats so you may want to make a reservation first.

深夜までやってる寿司屋です。夕方から夜の早い時間は近隣のホテルに泊まっている外国人観光客がよく訪れているようです。店内はカウンターのみです。寿司・刺身が美味しいのはもちろん、煮物や味噌汁も美味しいです。テレビが置いてあり1人でも来やすいのがありがたいです。持ち帰りも値段に応じて作ってもらえます。

持ち帰り寿司の看板が店前にあった。初めて高山に来た夜、ホテルに持ち込んで何か食べよ言うと探していた時偶然目に留まって、購入。以来高山に行く度、持ち帰りずしを購入している。うまいと思う。

今までで最高の寿司。当初は外のメニューと入り口でちょっとした混乱がありましたが、頑張って報酬をいただきました。中は美しく、とても勤勉な板前。最初は英語が不足していましたが、私たちが奉仕されたときには彼はもっとおしゃべりだとわかりました。私は写真を撮らなかったが、優秀だったことを恐れて、2000円程度でデラックスボックスを手に入れた。キュウリのマキにはたくさんのわさびがありましたが、それは通常もっとすっきりしたパレットクレンジングの寿司のオプションなので、私は奇妙に思いました。それでも、誰にもお勧めします。（原文）Best sushi I've ever had. Bit of confusion at first with menu outside and the entrance but we persevered and were rewarded for it. Beautiful inside and a very diligent Itamae. Lacks English at first but found he was more talkative when we had been served. Got the Deluxe box for about 2000¥, afraid I did not take a photo but was excellent. Cucumber maki had a lot of wasabi though, which I found strange as it's usually a more refreshing and pallette cleansing sushi option. Still, would recommend to anybody.
