The place is centrally located and the free shuttle stop to certain resorts are in front. It is a 5 to 7 min walk to the main bus shuttle that takes you to happo bus terminal, so be prepared to walk and it is uphill to the bus stop which is Echoland Spicy on V2 line. The location does allow you to walk to the Aeon market, but it is 15 mins one way, so it's not close, but doable. Unfortunately they only have one shower for the entire place and is only available 4pm to 11pm, so you need to plan accordingly. The men's restroom did have a sewer odor, but either I got use to it or sometimes it would not smell, so be prepared to hold your breathe. I only met the male owner and he was very nice.
I had a great stay at happy talk, the couple who owned the place stayed awake until 230am to greet me. They were both so nice and helpful. Will definitely staying there again when I come back!
Amazing and convenient hotel run by very kind family. One of the best accommodations I had stayed in for my trip to japan. Very safe area, I’m 18, and a solo female traveler, felt very safe leaving all my things in the room along with walking around the area at night. Private rooms, with microwave, fridge, and complementary coffee in the hallway. Very kind couple run the place, they were even kind enough to accept my extremely late check-in and extremely early checkout times. The rooms were tidy and clean, with heater inside. The hotel is about 30 second walk from the free buss shuttle station and about 10-15 minute walk from the paid bus shuttle. They also provide complementary ski storage and have discounts for rentals. They have showers downstairs, and towels for 300 yen. Very thankful for my stay here. The hosts speak Japanese and English, and have a lot of recommendations on things to do in the area. Abt a 8 minute bus ride from an onsen or 20 minute walk. About 10 minute walk from Echoland, which has many restaurants, bars, gift shops, a konbini and other activities. オーナーはとても親切で、環境はとても快適です（原文）老闆人非常親切，環境也很舒適。
宿泊した部屋はソファーとベット2台＋ロフトにベット2台のお部屋でした。お風呂はシャワーのみの様でしたが、付近には沢山の温泉があるので宿に無くても不便は感じません。娘がインフルBに罹っていたのですが嫌な顔せずとてもご親切にして頂きありがたかったです。

Host was a nice and helpful old man. Every room was with twin bed and a sofa.Refrigerator was in common area.Toilet and Shower room were shared, only one shower room.Snow Resort Shuttle Bus station was nearby, but shop/restaurant was 10mins away.
